After powerful performance in the movie BOL Humaima Mallik finally bagged leading role in big bollywood production titled ” Sher” produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s and directed by Soham Shah – who has produced successful movies like Kaal and Luck .

The movie stars Sanjay Dutt,Vivek Oberoi,Paresh Rawal and our very own and beautiful  Humaima Mallik as the leading lady.

The movie is based on the Gujarat underworld and will be shot on a start-to-finish 50 days schedule in Jaipur where huge set has been put up for the mammoth big-budget venture. Apart from this schedule the songs in the movie will be shot in Mumbai.

Not only this but Humaima Malik is said to being mentored by Dutt. Not only has he taken her under his wing and is guiding her about work in the Soham Shah directed film, but he’s also advising her on how to go about her career in showbiz.

Buzz also has it that Malik has taken her Pakistani stylist Akif Ilyas to India for her make-up and styling in her 1st bollywood production “Sher”

About her role in the film, Malik says, “I feel I’m crossing the border with a role that echoes my earlier film. Like my character in Bol, here too, my character revolts against patriarchy. I am not just the male protagonist’s wife.” The film is narrated in a flashback by Malik after her husband’s death.

Lets wish best of luck to Humaima Mallik for her bollywood venture . The film is slated for release in December, 2012.
