CID Police Chief Chaudhry Aslam Killed In A Bomb Blast In Karachi
Karachi: Chief of CID Police Chaudhry Aslam was killed in a deadly bomb blast in Karachi.
According to the police, 3 other security police officers were dead and few others injured in the bomb blast on Thursday. The vehicle of CID Chief Chaudhry Aslam was targeted at Liyari Express near the area called Issa Nagri in Karachi.
It has been told that the bomb was so powerful that it completely ruined two vehicles, while the nearby buildings were also damaged. Even the Flyover was damaged that tells us the intensity of the bomb.
Chaudhry Aslam killed 3 militants of Taliban on a day before the bomb blast, and that putted him on the hit-list of Taliban. Chaudhry Aslam killed many militants of Taliban in Karachi in the past. Taliban had targeted him on many different occasions before as well.
On September 19, 2011, around 8 people were killed and many others were injured in the suicide bomb blast on Chaudhry Aslam’s Residence. And few other times Taliban tried to target him in the past.
There were threats that he could be targeted any time by Taliban, as he was fighting against Taliban as a CID Chief.
Chaudhry Aslam had vowed that he will carry on his mission eliminating the Taliban in Karachi.
